The Moon Lodge
Description
“A little Cornish safari park” Designed for moon and star gazing, the Moon Lodge is an off-grid, hand-built cob dwelling in a vibrant wood, surrounded by great walks and ancient sites. There is a gas ring in the lodge and firepit outside in the private garden for cooking. Shared compost toilet and hot shower nearby. Ideal for a digital detox, there is phone signal and means to charge phones on site. Please bring your own bedding. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. The space The moonlodge has a double bed, and single gas ring burner. There is a wood burner should the night get chilly. The shower and compost toilet is about 40 yards from the lodge, so bring a head torch for late night visits. There is no electricity within any of the structures so it's advised you bring battery packs and lanterns if needed. Exposed candles are not welcome . Though tealights in a lantern are. Guest access You are welcome, and encouraged, to spend time in the tranquility of the woodland around the Moonlodge. Other things to note This is a nature connection site, where we strive to live as lightly as possible on the land. We ask that you leave the lodge as you found it , if not a little cleaner and do you're best to leave no trace ( it is a gentle way in which we work with the land and very much welcome the same of our guests). Compost toilets will not work with anything other than toilet paper so please no wipes, sanitary products etc Please take all your belongings (including from the shower hut) with you when you leave, including empty bottles.
