Water House is a beautiful , spacious, private detached property which nestles in the remote, very peaceful hamlet of Sparty Lea within the North Pennines AONB. With stunning panoramic views across the valley shadowed by heather moorland. Private sunny garden and parking for 2 cars. Perfectly situated for hill walking, pony trekking, cycling, bird watching or stargazing in the truly dark skies, or simply unwinding in the garden room and watching the weather and landscape constantly changing! The space Water House offers lots of space to enjoy the kitchen/dining area and the very large living room where you can make use of the desk space for writing, working or drawing. Or simply relax on the very comfortable, generous sized leather 3 piece suite. Every room boasts breathtaking views up the valley, the weather patterns are constantly changing the landscape. Radiators are in every room controlled by a thermostat. The log burning stove is ready just to light with complimentary logs on the hearth for the first evening. Extra logs are available if required. The property is served by spring water which is totally safe to drink as a ultra violet water filter system is installed. The garden room is an added bonus where the early summer morning sun arrives and stays until late afternoon, perfect for summer days. A cot and a highchair is available on request ( please note there is no bed linen provided with the cot ). Also there are no stair gates for little ones. Please note you are unable to charge your electric car from the property. Guest access Entire house with patio and lawn where you can enjoy being outdoors. There is a key safe box which is situated just above the little wooden gate at the entrance to the front door. Other things to note For those who like walking there are a few footpaths from the property in all directions! Allendale Town a picturesque village is less than five miles away. You will find a co-op, butcher and farm shop, tea rooms (one with art gallery), two pubs, chemist, hair dressers, post office and an Indian Restaurant, dine in or take away. There is also The Museum of Classical Sci-Fi which includes the classic ' Doctor Who' collection. Hadrian's Wall now a UNESCO World Heritage Site is not too far away to explore Sycamore Gap, and museums like Vindolanda.
