The Garden Flat is a purpose-built (and newly renovated in April 2024) self-contained guest house in the seaside village of East Preston. A simple and modern base to visit local attractions and areas such as the South Downs, Goodwood, Brighton or Worthing, also within driving or taxi distance of numerous wedding venues. The space Inside the space has a bedroom with king-size bed, desk, and armchair seating area. There is also a basic kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle (no oven), and shower room. The flat is completely self-contained and located in our garden (accessed via a side gate), so you can come and go as you please. You're welcome to use the garden when we're not using it (we have two young children and we're busy at home most of the time). The village has three pubs (closest 2 minutes' walk), Italian, Indian and Chinese restaurants (2-10 minutes' walk) and essential shops. And the quiet, undiscovered beaches of East Preston are only 15 minutes' walk away. East Preston is a good location for visiting the historic market town of Arundel with its castle (8 miles), Chichester for the Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival, Festival Theatre or Goodwood Racecourse (20 miles). Brighton is a 45-minute drive (18 miles). Goring Gap beach (4 miles). Angmering mainline railway station (1 mile) has direct trains to Worthing, Brighton, Clapham Junction, London Victoria and Southampton. The closest bus stop is directly opposite for the 11 bus (route to Worthing). Guest access The apartment is in our garden and accessed via a locked side gate.
