The space Upon entering, you will find our large king-sized bedroom with a brand new installed in June of 2024 split unit AC. Freshly painted! You will find local art from all of our surrounding islands hanging on the walls as a shout out to our local community and surroundings. The artwork has been collected by the owner over the years and each year, she adds a few more pieces. Once you turn left, you will find a newly refreshed kitchen in the hallway prior to entering into the dining and living space. Brand new sofa and newly covered chairs will have you relaxing in no time! Outside, you will find lounges and a large table to eat outside with a tropical garden view. When they do trim the trees, you will see a glimpse of Water Bay. Feel free to stop at the grocery store and pick up a few things in case you want to make breakfast before heading out on your adventures! Our large fridge will fit your beverages and food for the week. Take the beach chairs and the cooler to the beach with you! Come enjoy our tropical paradise right at Point Pleasant. Guest access Guests have access to the entire condo except for one small locked closet where the owner keeps her things. There is a large closet and a dresser for you to use. Other things to note Located at Point Pleasant Villas between Coki Beach and Sapphire Beach WiFi is not always perfect but take the time to relax, unplug and unwind while visiting the Virgin Islands - it really doesn't get much better than this! POWER OUTAGES From time to time, the island’s electric provider (WAPA) may experience service interruptions. These are typically brief and may affect the entire island or just certain areas — they are not related to the resort or the villa. Our newly installed generator is designed to activate automatically during an outage, though there may be a short pause as systems transition. If you ever notice power has not restored after a brief period, please let us know so we can notify the homeowners’ association. TRIP/TRAVEL INSURANCE As private Hosts, we offer unique dates in our property and highly recommend purchasing "cancel for any reason" travel insurance which may cover many risks including airline cancellations and health emergencies at a minimal cost. We do not provide refunds due to airline cancellations, health emergencies, power or wifi outages that are beyond our control. HEADS UP for Your Island Getaway for the months of AUGUST TO NOVEMBER! 🌴 As you’re dreaming of sipping piña coladas and soaking up the sun here in the US Virgin Islands, we wanted to give you a little heads-up. While the months of August, September and October often bring us beautiful blue skies and warm breezes, it’s also the time when Mother Nature can be a bit unpredictable. 🌦️ You might experience days filled with sunshine or get treated to some scattered rain showers (perfect for a cozy afternoon in your suite). There’s also the possibility of a tropical wave or, on rare occasions, even a hurricane trying to crash the party. 🌪️ While we always hope for the best, we like to be prepared for anything. That's why we strongly recommend getting travel insurance for your trip. With travel insurance, you can enjoy your vacation with peace of mind, knowing you’re covered no matter what the weather decides to do. Because let’s face it, the only surprises you want on your vacation are the good kind—like a sea turtle swimming by during your snorkel! 🐢 Now, just in case Mother Nature gets really dramatic and a storm in the Virgin Islands causes the airport on St. Thomas to close, preventing you from flying in, we’ve got you covered with a full refund. However, if a storm somewhere else impacts your travel, we won’t be able to provide a refund—so if you’re flying from or through areas that might be hit by snowstorms, windstorms, or any other weather adventures, trip insurance is definitely the way to go. If you’re already on-island and a named storm decides to drop by, we will do our best to keep you informed as best as possible and once again, trip insurance can help cover the unexpected.
