Guest access Entire studio, with exclusive access to the rooftop of the building Other things to note This beautiful Art Deco building (designed by Architect Claud Hamilton in 1928) was built in an era before elevators were commonplace, which means access to the rooftop studio is via 3 flights of stairs. It adds to the charm, but may not be ideal for those with heavy luggage or limited mobility. In the summer months it can get quite hot in Australia. This is a heritage building that has double brick construction. We are not allowed to install air conditioners to preserve the exterior of the building, however the solid construction means it is well insulated and generally 5 degrees cooler than the outside in summertime.
