Anglesey - 3 Bed Static Caravan with Indoor Pool

Our family holiday home 'Sol y Sombre' is a 3 bedroom, 5 bed static caravan with views over the Snowdonia mountain range. Within a quiet, well maintained site on the outskirts of Benllech Village it has an indoor heated swimming pool, fitness suite, childrens play park and football pitch. With a Smart TV, plenty of board games, and outdoor patio seating you can relax and enjoy no matter the weather. 5 min drive to Benllech shops & beaches, and 10 min to the delightful Moelfre and Lligwy Beach. The space We are delighted to share with you our family holiday home 'Sol Y Sombre' that will be open to guests when we can't be there. This homely 3 bedroom van is located within Glan Gors, the well maintained holiday park on the outskirts of Benllech, Anglesey. The property consists of 1 x double bed and 2 x 2 single beds, making the space perfect for 6 guests. The single beds are great for younger guests, however if its 6 adults you might find them a little on narrower side. (We have slept in them, so they do accommodate adults.) Please note we will supply duvets and pillows but not bedding or towels, so just a reminder to bring your own from home. There is a large open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. All stocked up ready for you enjoy. The kitchen has a gas oven/hob, fridge and small freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave and slow cooker. There is plenty of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery and of course wine glasses! The corner sofa is really comfy and has a habit of making you fall asleep if you get the chance to curl up for a quiet 5 minutes. The views from there are great overlooking the mountains. On arrival we will supply milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cordial, herbal tea and sugar and in addition the kitchen will be stocked with basics such as oil, salt, pepper, sauces and wrappings like tin foil. There is a Smart TV in the lounge and plenty of boardgames, books, colouring books and crayons. The bathroom has lovely hot water and all the rooms are centrally heated if you need it! Outside you can enjoy the view of the Snowdonia Mountain range either from the deck or the patio and there is outdoor seating for 6. If you love the sun, you'll be pleased to know it gets the sun throughout the day, and at night you can settle down with a throw and watch the stars across the dark sky. The site is well equipped with an 18m indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and gym, and there is a play park and football pitch too. Plenty to do if you fancy a day away from the beach or if the weather changes!! Location wise, Glan Gors is situated 5 mins drive from Benllech village which has a variety of pubs, shops, cafes, butchers and food shops - tesco and Coop. There is a bowling club, and of course the Blue Flag Beach which is fantastic for a swim. 10mins drive you will find the quaint fishing village of Moelfre and the equally delightful Lligwy Beach and Beach cafe - known for its pizzas and beer! If Golf is more your thing, there is a 18 hole golf course just 2 mins drive away. 15 mins drive you have Llangefni where you'll find the larger Asda, Aldi and Lidl , you can get petrol from Asda and if you like a Park Run, then this is where you can get your fix every Saturday morning at 9am! It’s a great spot, relatively quiet and if you get a chance to wind down, relax and listen to the birds, there is a delightful song thrush that tends to hover near by. We're happy for you to bring your well behaved dog, however we ask that you please keep them off the sofa and the beds. If extra cleaning is required we may have to charge for this. Thanks for your understanding. Please be aware that certain breeds are prohibited at Glan Gors, so please check with us before you book if you think you may have a prohibited breed. Dogs on the site need to be on leads at all times, however there is a dog walking field at the entrance to Glan Gors where they are free to run! Lligwy Beach is dog friendly all year round, as are many other beaches on the island, however Benllech Beach has a restricted area between May and September, although there is still plenty of space in the unrestricted section. If your dog needs a wash after a day at the beach, there is an outside tap on the side of the van, next to the parking spot. Guest access You have access to all of the static van, the patio and deck. There is parking for 1 car on the gravel area next to the van. You have access to the Leisure facilities during your stay, please see the property manual for the site requirements during your stay. Other things to note Please ensure you bring bedding (duvet cover and pillow cases), towels and tea towels. While we provide duvets and pillows we do not provide any linen for your stay.
