Oliver's Cove Hideaway

A place on the ocean like no other. This mini home is located at 7773 Highway 1, Meteghan, NS and is two stories, with the bedroom upstairs featuring a king bed and it's own walkout balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. This property has a stand alone sunroom with its own spectacular balcony and view as well as tv and wifi. New for this year, we've added a hot tub on it's own deck with great views of the ocean from the tub. We offer privacy and yet you'll be close to many amenities. The space Although small, this mini home has everything that our guests would expect in a much larger home, such as a stackable washer/dryer combo, luxurious shower and a bedroom with a king bed, tv AND its own balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean/Bay of Fundy. The kitchen is fully stocked, again with the amenities of a much larger home such as a Ninja Air Fryer, Ninja Oven, mid size refrigerator, induction cooktop, 2 style coffee maker, and a toaster. Outside is a propane barbecue just off the main floor deck with its wraparound bar top for more outstanding views of the ocean. Just outside of the mini home is the hot tub, again on the ocean with its own outstanding view of the gorgeous ocean sunsets. About 200 feet away, located by the parking area is the sunroom. Constructed last year, it's a perfect place to relax. We offer a pretty large library with all genres of books, as well as puzzles and games. Again, there is small balcony with stools to sit and enjoy a different view of the ocean than that of the mini home (our favourite). Guest access Located on nearly 2 acres with a 300 - 400 foot coastal frontage all in a private setting for our guests to enjoy and not share with anyone else. Other things to note New for this year is the hot tub on it's own deck just outside the front entranceway of the mini home located right on the edge of the ocean. If you can imagine yourself whiling away the evening watching the sunset over the ocean from the tranquility of the hot tub, then this is the place for you. Off the property, about a 5 minute drive, is beautiful Mavillette Beach and Cape St. Mary lighthouse and park. Less than a half hour drive away is the small city of Yarmouth, with it's many bars, restaurants, shopping and the CAT Ferry. Close to Yarmouth is the little known but beautiful Cape Forchu Lighthouse and park. We believe that this lighthouse and setting rivals that of Peggy's Cove and is a terrific discovery for many visitors. Less than an hours drive the other way is beautiful Digby and nearby Annapolis Royal with it's stunning beauty in an unbelievable historic setting.
