Mellow out at Mellow Wood

Escape to Mellow Wood, a serene and one-of-a-kind retreat just 90 minutes from Sydney. Nestled on 40 acres of pristine bushland in the peaceful Yango Valley, Laguna, this luxury timber log house offers the perfect blend of comfort and nature. Start your day with misty mornings among the treetops, accompanied by birdsong and the gentle presence of wallaby families. Relax on the balconies with a cup of coffee or unwind in front of the open fireplace in the evenings with your favourite drink. The space Whether dining al fresco or enjoying meals, family style, by the fire, Mellow Wood promises a peaceful and unforgettable experience. Mellow Wood is perfect for the Bridal Couple, Bridal Party or Wedding guests. There are three bedrooms downstairs—two with double beds and one with 2 single beds. The upstairs bedroom has a Queen-size bed, a balcony with lovely views and an ensuite bathroom. There is a Smart TV and a DVD player ~ we have a selection of DVDs or you are welcome to bring your own. There are electric blankets on all the beds. We will provide firewood for the fireplace in the lounge area. The outdoor dining area has a BBQ and an outdoor setting. There are board games and plenty of interesting reading. There is Starlink Wi-Fi. Guest access You can enjoy the entire house and surrounding bushland. Other things to note No pets allowed. There is no mobile coverage but we have Starlink Wi-fi. There are basic food items in the pantry and fridge: teas, coffee, sugar and milk. Please plan your meals ahead as the location is quite remote. If you have forgotten any items, The Trading Post or Laguna Providores is about a 15 minute drive. There is also a General Store in Wollombi about a 23 minute drive. If you require a supermarket, Cessnock is about 50 minutes away. There is a dam on the property which is why we don't accept children under 4 years old - care should still be taken with older ones.
