The space Originally an artist's residence, Sadler Cottage was redesigned by our family with a neutral pallet that welcomes the outside in. We hope guests feel the same connection we do to this special place and our memories of riding horses across the fields, taking long drives, and enjoying bonfires is felt for years to come by new friends. From locally reclaimed floors from TN barn siding to exposed hardwood beams, Sadler Cottage tells the story of this stunning landscape we are honored to share. We created spaces conducive to late-night conversations, big dreaming, and connection where moments of inspiration and joy can take place with ease. The focus of life in the cottage is the Tennessee limestone stacked wood-burning fireplace on the white oak wrap-around porch. Porch life comes easy (easier still with a drink in hand) and wildlife of all type abounds with a soundtrack of birdsongs. The living room is reminiscent of a Cotswold snug and set-up for cocktail hour, reading, and conversation. The furniture is a collection of legacy English pine pieces and comfortable, modern touches. Both bedrooms are king sized (one king suite downstairs; one up) and our darling twin sleeping nooks are the coziest hide-a-way.
