Description
Rockwood Motor Court, on historic Route 66, was built in 1929. Each room is themed and furnished to the era of Route 66. Camp Rockwood pays homage to the important history of motor courts along the road. It is decorated with historic photos of Rockwood and other courts and motels. Newly renovated in 2019, you’ll enjoy clean and comfortable room amenities while experiencing authentic motor court lodging. Need more space? We have larger rooms or can package multiple rooms for your group. The space We believe traveling is about the journey and not a race to the destination. Your time at historic Rockwood Motor Court will be a special part of your journey as you share experiences with other guests and spend the night in the same rooms where other travelers have stayed for over 90 years. Guest access Outdoor spaces includes a large covered patio with tables and bbq grill. There’s a fire pit, picnic table and lawn chairs on the small patio behind CasaBlanca Cottage. Check out the cozy gathering space by the old garage (with a great Route 66 photo op). For a quiet and relaxing spot, choose the big fountain and Adirondack chairs in the cubby courtyard. Other things to note To maximize your stay at Rockwood, we encourage you to explore the grounds, learn about the motor court’s history, and enjoy the artistic detail of the stone and masonry work. It truly is unique! Registration Details BUS2019-01765
