B&B - Superior King room with ensuite shower room

Welcome to Orchy Bank Guesthouse, Dalmally, Argyll and Bute. We assure you a warm welcome and a great stay with incredible views of the River Orchy, Ben Lui or Ben Cruachan mountains. This part of Scotland is renowned for the rich diversity of wildlife, rugged scenery, ancient forests, magnificent mountains and rich history. We are a short drive away from Oban, Glencoe and Fort William. Which makes us a perfect base to explore the nearby areas. The space Orchy Bank House was purchased in 2019 with a view to restoring the entire property and turning it back into a successful Bed & Breakfast business, having originally been set up as such in the 1960s. Whilst totally renovating the entire property we have made every attempt to keep our business as environmentally friendly and green as possible. The house has been fully insulated, with 15 centimetres of insulation in the loft and roof spaces above the bedrooms. The external walls are well-insulated and all the doors and windows are double glazed. Our heat source is from Air Source Heat Pumps, which heat our underfloor central heating system, plus all our hot water. We recycle where possible and our green waste goes into the compost bin. Guest access All of our rooms have ensuite showers, apart from Sycamore, which has a private bathroom with a bath. All are equipped with locally sourced, luxurious Highland Soaps Co. (hand wash, shower gel and shampoo) made in Fort William by a family-run business. Fabulous bed linen and fluffy towels are supplied. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in every room. All our rooms have built-in cupboards, hanging space or drawers plus hairdryers. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the house. All of the bedrooms are on the first floor and have been designed to have spectacular views of the river Orchy, upstream or downstream, the surrounding mountains or Dalmally bridge and beyond.
