Description
The house is located in the old city of Montevideo, the historic center of the city. It is a bright location and is in a quiet, safe neighborhood with a lot of history and identity. It has two balconies facing a pedestrian street and a connection to the roof terrace from where you can see the Rambla and the Cerro de Montevideo. It is unique because it is located on a pedestrian street near the Montevideo port market and the Rambla, unmissable sites for those who are getting to know the city. The space The apartment is part of an old two-story house. The ground floor is composed of a common entrance corridor to the ground floor apartment and the upper floor apartment. The Airbnb apartment shown in the photos is on the upper floor. It consists of a large living room attached to the fully equipped kitchen and from the living room two balconies overlooking the street. Leaving the living room to the bathroom hallway towards the back and further back the room with a double bed. Next to the room there is a small garden with access to the roof. The house is very bright and there are several plants to care for and water! The apartment is independent and autonomous from the one below except for the entrance corridor which is common. A trusted person lives in the apartment below who can help with whatever is needed during your stay. For those who care about the safety of their things, the room and the bathroom upstairs, which are connected to each other, can be locked. The person downstairs doesn't go up to the apartment upstairs for anything, because there's no need. Guest access There are all kinds of supplies and restaurants in the surrounding area, including the port market: a typical place where you can eat the best Uruguayan barbecue. The old city is an ideal neighborhood for walking, visiting museums, getting to know the squares and eating cosmopolitan meals. Also listen to candombe, the typical music of Uruguay and stroll along the promenade.
