'Hanok Jadong' is a small and pretty hanok house located in Jaedong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. In 2023, it was also selected as Seoul Excellence. The yard is not big, but the fence is low, so you can feel a wider open feeling than any hanok house. Beyond the fence, you can see the other hanok roofs and the open sky. It's very close to Anguk Station, so it's not difficult to come. Even those who often come to Anguk to hang out are surprised if there was a hanok house in this place. Famous cafes and bakeries, such as the London Bagel Museum and Onion, are close by, and Seosunra-gil, which is still hot, and Ikseon-dong, which is still hot (?) Insa-dong is also not far away. It's always crowded with tourists and youth, but I'm sometimes surprised that it's really quiet and peaceful when you enter the house. If you want to feel the atmosphere of the countryside for a while in the middle of Seoul, welcome! The space 'Hanok Ja-dong' is an accommodation that has been inspected for accommodation and has been officially registered as a hanok experience business, but it is a general 'family home', not a professional guesthouse or a hanok stay. It is a communication space where a working couple who came to live in a hanok wanted to share the beauty of the hanok with others. You can play comfortably like a friend or acquaintance's home, and you can rest quietly in a space that borders nature. Guest access The guests will be using the house in the annex. The annex is an independent space with a bathroom and toilet. It's a traditional hanok, but the interior is reinterpreted in a modern way (?), Anyway, it's neat and convenient, but it's an old house, so the size of the room is small. I usually recommend two women or a couple who can stay tightly, but I don't recommend it for those who are very large or prefer a large space. Other things to note - There is no parking space. Anguk Station or bus stop is very close, so please use public transportation as much as possible. (There is a paid parking lot nearby, such as a Hyundai Construction Parking Lot.) -The hanok house and the surrounding area are all non-smoking areas. - No drinking or eating in the room. Please use the living room or yard for simple drinking or eating. - For security and safety reasons, CCTVs are installed at the entrance of the building and in the yard.
