The nest provides the opportunity to explore the Comox Valley in a peaceful, yet affordable way. Whether you're passing through for work, spending your days skiing at Mount Washington or biking the various trails throughout the valley, the nest is sure to provide the comfort you deserve. After your days adventure, come back to the nest and enjoy your private HOT TUB while listening to the flowing creek in the back. The space The nest is located in the basement of the main house (which we occupy). We are a family of 5, with three children and a puppy- we are fully aware that the sound of busy children's/puppy footsteps don't exactly scream tranquility. Therefore, while you are here, we make it our top priority to ensure any transfer noise is limited. The sounds we hope you hear are those of birds chirping and the nearby creek flowing. Unfortunately there is not a full kitchen, however there are enough amenities to support most in house meals. There is an air fryer, a microwave, a toaster oven, a mini fridge, a water cooler, and an electric Kettle and Keurig (coffee included) at your disposal. While there is no kitchen sink, we will provide you with clean dishes daily. Guests have access to their private hot tub outside the suite . The hot tub fits 4 adults comfortably. It is an inflatable hot tub which reaches a max 104 F (40 C). While sitting in the hot tub, you can hear the flowing water from the creek in the back, and the chirping birds nearby which add to the peacefulness and tranquility. As it is a family home and family neighborhood, if you're looking to let loose and party in house, this isn't the place for you. We ask that our guests respect the bylaws and community; no outside noise after 10pm. The space accommodates up to four adults; but as basement suites go - likely more suitable for two guests comfortably.
