FRONT HOME + SHARED BACKYARD w/ another airbnb studio. A small, cozy, earthy, clean home for up to four guests in the heart of Visalia, CA. A little city close to 3 National Parks and Giant Trees! Sequoia National Park (35 miles) Kings Canyon National Park (54 miles) Yosemite National Park (105 miles) The space We welcome you to our little city close to beautiful Sequoia National Park, California. You will get the chance to drive up to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, make a pit stop on your way to Yosemite National park, or hang out and walk/bike around Downtown Visalia! *Very Important* Before you book remember: 1. There are two airbnbs in this property, this home (located as the front house) and a small studio (located in the back). 2. We are located in a older neighborhood - but very close to downtown Visalia and Grocery Stores 3. This is a small vintage cozy home. Not modern. 4 . We are a home not hotel. :) National Parks Distance: We are 30 minutes driving distance from the south entrance (Generals Highway) to Sequoia, 5 min bike ride or 10 min walk to the best restaurants in downtown! (I will mention- Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks are very big, it will take 1.5 hours from our home to get to the General Sherman Tree area and 2 hours to General Grant Area, and ~3 hours to Yosemite Valley) And incase you weren’t aware, there is a new Reservation System for Yosemite National Park: *All reservations are sold online @recreation[dot]gov, you need a credit card and email to purchase. About our home: We would love to share our "Tiny Gem Amongst the Giants" located as the front house with all of those that would like to experience a nice, cozy, clean, & comfortable stay! Our home is a cozy, earthy, rustic, minimal, adventurer space that will make you feel miles away from the routines in our daily lives. It has new and vintage furniture. Two Queen beds and another queen pull-out bed from sofa in the living room. Clean and cozy bedding, and LOTS of plants! :) This unique home offers a full sized-fridge for your meals if needed and lots of ice in the freezer, a microwave, toaster, oven for our baker friends, complimentary coffee, teas, anything you need...we probably have! The bathroom is very simple as you can see in the picture, very simple and clean shower (No Tub) and sink/toilet (please be aware that if you have mobility issues, this may not be the best place for you). All of our guests will have complimentary toiletries in case they forget. Downtown Visalia is less than 1 mile away. You can bike, walk, run, drive and be there in less than 10 mins. There are tons of delicious restaurants, a fabulous movie theater, thrift stores, antique shops, plant stores, music venues, 2 Beer Gardens, and more brew pubs. We also have a tourist information center, Visit Visalia...but we will be providing you with all the TIPS and secrets to Visalia & all THREE National Parks. We are super excited to continue hosting! We are both very dedicated people that love to travel and meet new people, we welcome you to our home and Visalia! Guest access Guest will have access to park in our driveway, and use the patio if they'd like to enjoy a meal outside! Other things to note We have an older, but very cute home 💛 The main bedroom doesn't have much insulation, but the second bedroom has tons, so you can definitely have a good nights sleep there! (We are working on one room at a time!) With that being said, if you sleep in the main bedroom, you can sometimes hear other neighbors if they host people over in the evenings (unfortunately). If you are a very light sleeper, we suggest sleeping in the second bedroom, but if you are okay, are a deep sleeper, or don't mind our friendly neighbors, then we would love to host you and your guests!! :) A friendly reminder: We are hosting other travelers in the studio. The patio under the pergola will be a shared common area. Please consider other airbnbs if you are not comfortable sharing your stay with other guests in the same property. Neighborhood: I would like to share and remind all those who are interested in our home to please have in mind that we are in an older neighborhood near downtown. There a couple of homeless folks that occasionally walk near our street where they like to hang out or walk to the near by park. We were living in the front home for six years, before moving and we've hosted in our home since 2019 with no issues from the homeless, ever. My goal is to ensure every guest feels at home and secure during their stay. Please consider other airbnbs if you are not comfortable to stay in an older neighborhood.
