The recently renovated house consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one outdoor) and a kitchen. The terrace, partly covered by a pergola, is spread over two levels, for a total of about 50 m in length. It is located in an isolated area, about 45 minutes' walk uphill from the port (600 steps, of which the last 100 are challenging because they are high). The house is not suitable for children under the age of 12, both because of the necessary walk up and the particularly exposed position on the ridge. Nor is it suitable for people with leg problems, as the route to the house is challenging, especially in the last stretch (about 100 final steps). In general, all the mule tracks (the only ways to move around the island, exclusively on foot) are without shade, so it is advisable, in the summer months, to move in the early hours of the morning or in the late afternoon. There is an emergency medical service on the island, but there is no pharmacy or emergency room. There are no ATMs or tobacco shops. It is advisable to take cash for the entire stay if you do not plan to go on excursions to the other islands. Inside and outside the house, the internet connection works, but weakly and not consistently. The telephone line can also often be disrupted. The water available to guests comes entirely from the collection of rainwater, and is not drinkable. Responsible use of available water is recommended to avoid wasting the island's most valuable resource. Luggage and groceries are transported by mules, to be booked before arrival at a cost of 60 euros per trip (port - house). It is essential to include enough drinking water for the entire stay or in any case for a large period of the stay (each mule can carry a maximum of 6 cases of 6 2-liter bottles of water).
