If you need to make noise, this isn't the spot 🙂 The space Lifts take you to the 1st floor flat where a large balcony overlooks the River Foyle. There's outdoor furniture & a firepit on the balcony so you can relax & watch the world go by. The open plan kitchen-living room is spacious & airy with breakfast table, large sofa & plenty of books, DVDs, CDs & art. Netflix & Amazon Prime are logged in so you can watch for free. The coffee is good & there's a washer-dryer for laundry. I aim to keep the kitchen stocked with basics like milk, fruit, eggs, butter, jam, cordial, & potato bread (check the freezer). Plenty of utensils. Two double bedrooms with firm, deep mattresses. Beds can now be exited from both sides (common accessibility request from guests). There's a hair dryer; straighteners; & large mirrors. There’s fast Wi-Fi (full fibre 500 Mb/s). Two comfy chair-&-desk options to work at. Lots of convenient charging sockets. Plenty of bedroom storage: large wardrobes; small cupboards. Bedside tables have reading lamps. The main bathroom has a sink; toilet; shower; bath; Epsom salts; mint shower gel; Argon oil shampoo & conditioner. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with sink, toilet, shower & similar shampoo, condition & shower gel supplies. We have a video doorbell to discourage parties Guest access You can enjoy the living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, bathrooms & balcony. We use one room for storage which is locked. Mobility issues? Foyleview Apartments can be entered via automatic sliding door. Lifts go to level one. We’ve used mobility vehicles and wheelchairs here, but watch out for tight corners and the heavy fire doors which require a bit of upper body strength. The flat interior is all on one level. There’s a step to access the balcony, but we can bring some ramps out of storage for this, if you need them. Just let us know! The main bathroom's shower is over a bath so not great for disability access, but the en-suite shower is a little easier access, requiring just a small step up to enter. We're saving up to make some disability adaptations in the future. Watch this space! Other things to note The walk into the city centre is a beautiful riverside stroll. Fully pedestrianised. 15 minutes. Bringing your car? The car park only accepts coins, but you can buy 24 hours of parking for only £5. The meter doesn’t accept cards, but there’s no rush to pay right away. Insert 5 pound coins into the meter any time during each 24 hour stay. There’s an ATM machine & magazine counter at Sainsburys (5 minutes walk up the river) if you need cash & change. Park by the meter near Pyke & Pommes outdoor restaurant (you’ll know it by its double decker bus). This car park is 30 seconds walk from the entrance to our flats at Foyleview Apartments.
