Pls read on for Access and Food package The space Castaway Private Island is a remote community in a pristine and little explored Lingga Regency. There are no other resorts, amenities or villages on the islands. There is no Air Conditioning but rooms are designed to maximise air circulation to keep you comfortable. There are solar powered ceiling fans on both the top and bottom floor of your unique double storey tent. Smoking is strictly prohibited within the tents. Lights and Fans are solar powered and will last the whole night if use sensibly. Do switch off the fans and lights when not in use! Similarly, the rain harvested water in the 500L tank will be sufficient if use sensibly. Pls use this critical resource frugally by limiting showers etc. We only have this water till the next rain fall. Water from the rain water tank is untreated. Pls only drink from the flasks provided in your room. We use a Biodigester tank to treat sewage. There are living organisms in the tank to digest your wastes before returning it to enrich the soil. Do not throw anything into the toilet other than toilet paper and organic wastes. Guest access Castaway Private Islands are privately owned. There are no other inhabitants on the islands except fellow castaways and staff. Let loose your inner explorer and embrace the castaway spirit by exploring every inch of the islands! Access is via private boat (Only) Pick up is in Batam Island. We are running an opening promo at the moment. All Land and Sea transfers from Batam to Castaway Private Island (and return) is Complimentary! Subject to 2 nights/2pax minimum stay. Other things to note Advisory for young castaways: Our Castaway Islands have been kept as close as possible to what nature intended, in keeping with our planet-first philosophy. As such no special protections have been put in place for our fledglings. For example, there are no childproof furniture or fall -over protection on the overwater decks. Parents are advised that if they wish to bring their young ones to experience the unfettered beauty of nature, we advise them to watch over their young like a mother whale over her calf. During registration they will be required to acknowledge that they have been advised that the Castaway Private Islands are not suitable for kids below 10 years of age, that they accept these risks and will indemnify the owners, operators and staff from legal action.
