The Cherry Tree at Les Mirabelles

Come and stay with us in our little corner of paradise. Envelop yourself in the calm and tranquility of the countryside, explore the beautiful landscape of the Aveyron gorges, delight in the French culture and cuisine at the local markets, or dive into the clean, clear waters of the rivers and lakes. Our stylish cottage is set in just over a hectare of land with a large shared pool, an orchard, woodland, meadows and thriving vegetable garden. The space Downstairs is a large open-plan space with kitchen, dining area and lounge with a wood burning stove for cosy winter evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything the keen cook will need to make the most of the incredible local produce, including salt and pepper, oli and vinegar, tea and coffee. We can lend you spices from our collection to minimise waste, and pick herbs from the garden. You can even borrow from our extensive cookbook library to provide inspiration. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with inviting linen sheets. It is furnished with a wardrobe, armchair and dressing table, which can be used as a workspace. Next door is our luxurious shower room complete with organic toiletries and fluffy towels. There is a private terrace with a small seating area, as well as plenty of areas to sit, relax, drink and eat spread across the grounds and around the pool. We provide pool towels and can also lend you everything you need for a picnic. If you want to rent bikes or e-bikes to explore the beautiful rolling countryside during your stay just let us know. We can arrange for them to be delivered before your arrival and have a full bike servicing station available for all our guests. Guest access Guests are free to explore the whole 1 hectare site, where you will find a range of different places to relax and unwind. Other things to note We can provide table d'hôte on request, prepared by Heather, a Leiths trained chef who uses local produce to create delicious, seasonal, three course meals. There is another one-bedroom gîte on site which shares access to the pool and grounds. Please note, there are two friendly, well-behaved dogs and six chickens on site.
