Description
Enjoy uninterrupted views of the Great Dividing Range in this restored 50-year-old cottage, a mere 10-minute drive to the bustling regional city of Tamworth. The Bothy is thoughtfully designed to encompass everything you need for a cosy and peaceful stay. Two bedrooms each boast a Queen bed, with quality linen and towels. WFH with fast Starlink Wi-Fi, snuggle on the couch with Netflix or kick back with a local brew around the fire pit under a night sky blazing with stars. The space Set on 25-pristine acres, The Bothy enjoys gorgeous tree-lined views across our paddocks. A seasonal creek wends through the property, with the mountains of the Great Dividing Range blue on the horizon. The Bothy is set within a securely fenced yard to keep dogs safely contained, nestled in a charming cottage garden 50-metres from our house. There is a comprehensively equipped full sized kitchen and the bathroom is charmingly bespoke. Kangaroos graze our property peacefully, and we often have our horses meandering in the paddock below to greet you in the morning! While only 10-minutes from Tamworth, The Bothy feels truly remote and enjoys truly nourishing, quiet evenings. There is a strictly no smoking allowed inside the cottage. A $1500 cleaning fee will apply if smoke is detected inside the cottage. Guest access Check yourself in with the smart box located on the property. The smart box is located on the onside of the door alcove to the left of the door. Other things to note Our valley does not have good phone service and as such you may not have phone service at The Bothy. However the WI-FI is excellent and you can make phone calls/send text messages over WI-FI. The Bothy welcomes well behaved fur babies by appointment for a small extra fee. (We ask that dogs remain on leads when outside They Bothy yard to keep our horses safe.) The Bothy is plumbed with drought-friendly, non-potable bore water; however, plenty of fresh, twice-filtered rainwater is supplied for drinking. There is a large ceramic water filter on the bench top filled with rainwater, and a filtered jug in the fridge. We stock a basic pantry that includes: A Nespresso pod machine, black and herbal teas, salt, pepper & olive oil. There is also a coffee plunger and a teapot. A portacot and highchair can be made available on request. Registration Details PID-STRA-66347
