Heated Floors during cooler months. Bike the towpath to downtown Akron, the National Park or Cleveland and take the train back with bike onboard. Launch a kayak from the backyard or fish from the deck! Music/dance venues nearby on Akron’s music row. Firestone Country Club -7 min Football Hall of Fame - 20 min The space This is a small and modest home in a modest neighborhood. This is also my second home, (to be near and help with my elderly father), when it’s not being rented. The trailhead for the towpath is a 7 minute walk or 3 minute bike ride away. There is also a parking lot at the trailhead, if you prefer to drive over. Enjoy fishing off the deck (bring your own gear). Launch a kayak or SUP from the deck or nearby launch locations. Some things of note: - The kitchen is small but includes all the amenities that you will need. - The 3rd bedroom is also the office, with curtains as the door to offer privacy and a futon as a bed (futon fits 2 children or small adults or 1 larger adult). - The home has 3 window air conditioners (May - Oct). - The floors are heated during the cooler months.
