Description
Unplug, unwind, and relax at the start of the world famous Cabot's Trail. Nestled by a babbling brook, this off-grid, solar-powered dome can be your unique accommodation to discover. Perfect for a short stay or a one-night stop over on your way to tour the Cabot's Trail. Conveniently located along the Trans Canada Highway. A ten minute drive from the historic sailing town of Baddeck, on the shores of the Bras D'or, which offers excellent dining options and a quaint town for a day out. The space The dome is just under 200 square feet and one room with a queen bed. It is completely solar powered, with availability to charge your phones or devices. A small brook runs behind the dome. Some nights you may be able to hear it babble. A cooler will be provided to store food. Please bring your own ice! A BBQ is available for your use as well as an outdoor sink and picnic table dining area. There is also a small high top table with two chairs inside. A kettle is provided to heat up water on the BBQ, and a french press is provided. There is no indoor plumbing, and no traditional washroom or shower. Instead a rustic outhouse is close by for your use. There is no wifi in the dome and the cell service (and data access) is spotty. This is a great time to disconnect! Guest access Guests will have access to the whole dome and a private outhouse for guest use.
