Welcome to Westra Långekärrs Gård on northwestern Tjörn! Here you live secluded and close to nature in a beautiful environment in a small house with all the comforts and with nature outside the door. Around there is a rich animal and bird life with great opportunity to see deer, sometimes even fox and moose. Welcome from the Berndtsson family! The space With us, you can rent the farm's former carriage house, which is now a renovated, charming house with all the amenities. We call it Lillstugan. Lillstugan has one bedroom with a double bed, as well as a loft with two 80 cm beds, which can be put together or separated. Additional beds are possible on the sofa, which is a sofa bed. Nicely equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, induction stove and oven. Fully tiled bathroom with shower, toilet and underfloor heating. TV is available for streaming via mobile phone. Gas grill and outdoor furniture are available on the associated patio. The rent includes heating, hot water, electricity and fiber internet connection. Air heat pump is available for heating/cooling. - The house has beds (incl. sofa bed) for 6 people but is best suited for four people. - Bed linens and towels are not included, but are available to rent for SEK 175 per person. - No pets. - No smoking indoors. - Electric car charging is charged separately. - Bicycles are available to borrow. - Guests clean up after themselves. We provide cleaning supplies. Guest access As guests, you have the entire Lillstugan at your disposal. As we live on a farm, there are large areas and you live separately from us who live on the farm. There are a lot of wild animals around, such as deer, fox and sometimes moose. During the summer months, horses walk in the pastures around the farm. Other things to note Our farm and Lillstugan are located in Långekärr on northwestern Tjörn, 3 km from Kyrkesund, 4 km from Björholmen and a stone's throw from Pilane sculpture park. The famous artwork Anna, is visible from the farm. There is beautiful nature nearby and horses that walk in the pastures around the farm. Nice swimming areas within cycling distance and nice trails for running and walks right outside the door. Down on Björholmen is Björholmens Marina with a restaurant and ice cream kiosk. On Härön, on the other side of Kyrkesund, is the restaurant Magasinet på Härön. You can reach Härön via the ferry in Kyrkesund (Västtrafik). On the island, there is a beautiful cultural landscape and nice hiking trails. Food store and liquor store are located in Skärhamn about 10 km away. In Skärhamn, there is also the Nordic Watercolor Museum. Tourist brochures are available in the small cottage. The farm has been in the family since the early 1600s and probably longer than that. Our children are the 12th generation here. The houses and barn date back to the early 19th century. We carefully maintain the land and buildings and renovate them carefully to preserve the genuine environment and our cultural heritage for future generations. We grow a lot of vegetables on the farm for our own use and there are both greenhouses and a large vegetable field.
