This little haven is managed entirely by a young couple, with the enthusiastic support of their two children (Grade 7 and Grade 2), who often join in the fun of welcoming and helping out guests. Everything here is family-run—from heartfelt communication to delicious home-cooked meals. We don’t rely on large teams or outsourcing. Instead, every detail is lovingly handled by our small family who lives nearby and treats every guest like one of their own. You’ll wake up to birdsong, sip tea with sunrise views, enjoy freshly made food, and feel part of a humble hill-side home that truly values your presence. Guest access Guests will have full private access to the Forest Heaven cottage, including the cozy bedroom, attached bathroom, and the fully enclosed private balcony with the option to open or close it as needed. You can relax indoors or step out onto the balcony to enjoy the fresh forest air and scenic views in complete privacy. Guests are also welcome to explore the small garden space around the cottage and take peaceful walks along the nearby forest-lined paths. While Forest Heaven is designed as a private space, our family lives nearby and is always available for any help, recommendations, or local tips during your stay. Its elevated location offers privacy and a cozy setting, ideal for couples seeking peace and nature. The balcony is fully enclosed with a door, allowing guests to enjoy the cool forest breeze or close it completely for maximum privacy. The last 300 meters of the approach road is unpaved, but vehicles can reach the property without difficulty. Assistance is available if needed. Airtel 5G network is currently available at the property, which is a bonus given the usual connectivity issues across Wayanad. 24/7 hot water is available, powered by a pressure pump that ensures strong flow, including for the hot water supply. The stay is run by a young couple, with occasional help from their two children studying in 7th and 2nd grade. It is a true family-run retreat where everything is handled with personal care. Home-cooked meals are available upon request and are lovingly prepared by the family. Prior notice is appreciated for meal planning. Our restaurant area includes common amenities such as a TV with home theater system and PS4 gaming console, which are available for all guests to enjoy. While there is a paid kitchen facility, the use of kitchen items will be permitted based on your specific requests. Please note that use of cooking or eating items inside the bedroom is not allowed, as it may attract ants or other insects. Guests are welcome to enjoy their food in the restaurant or designated common areas. As we are located very close to the forest, there are natural limitations to the in-room amenities we can provide. However, we strive to fulfill all guest needs as best as we can through thoughtful alternatives in the common areas.
