The space This stunning, new construction home is adorned in custom marble, tile, and stonework throughout. The large, fully stocked kitchen area is perfect for preparing meals and entertaining at the oversized island. There is both a king size bed and queen bed to accommodate up to 4 people. The queen bed is set back in a cove for privacy. The custom bathroom has a gorgeous, oversized shower with two shower heads and a sitting bench. The living room area features an 80 inch LED TV, electric fire place, and a comfortable sofa. If you're in more of a low tech mood, enjoy playing some records on the Victrola record player. Outside, you'll find a BBQ for grilling and TONS of room to explore! This is a prime location for stargazing as we are away from all the city and highway lights. We've had serious stargazers/astronomers stay here for weeks at a time for our ideal night skies. We are truly just a walk away from the Funeral Mountains and Death Valley National Park. The park itself starts just on the other side of the CA/NV border which is less than 1500 feet from our property! Given that, we might technically be the closest Airbnb to DVNP, though you still have to drive around the mountains to enter the main part of the park(about 40 minutes away). Be sure to check out the map images in our photos. It's location, location, location! While this property feels like it's at the end of the earth, we do have internet so you can watch your Netflix and stay connected. Nearby attractions include Death Valley National Park, Big Dune Sand Dunes(just 6 miles away), Ash Meadow Wildlife Preserve, The Amargosa Opera House, Rhyolite Ghost town, Tecopa Hot Springs, and China Date Ranch. Places to eat nearby are the Stateline Saloon and Longstreet Casino. For last minute supplies or groceries, Martell Market is just a few miles away and has all of your basics covered. Guest access You'll have full access to the home plus the shared laundry room. The front door is keypad entry. Feel free to explore our 4+ acres and the adjacent public land. Other things to note We have the EASIEST checkout with no chore list or tasks to do! Just lock the door and the cleaners take care of everything. This is one of three homes on the property. Please be considerate of any other guests. We find that Death Valley tends to draw only the most awesome people! This is the desert so it can be pretty dusty at times. Depending on the time of year, you might see wildlife like bugs, lizards, rabbits, coyotes, and snakes. Be sure to bring sunscreen and drink lots of water in summer. If going to Death Valley we recommend filling your gas tank before you get there, the Alien gas station is much cheaper than you will find in the park. Bring lots of water!
