Stunning Yurt on glorious acreage

Spacious, yet cozy! Simple, yet elegant! Off-grid, yet super comfy! Come relish two acres of trees, sunlight, and chirping birds--perfect for a relaxing escape or a restful evening after a day on Mt Rainier (the Nisqually entrance is a beautiful, 25-minute drive). Just up the road, enjoy boating and fishing on Mineral Lake. WiFi if the world can't wait, firepit if smores can't wait, and sunlit deck if lounging can't wait. Camping also available on the property; invite your friends! The space Hold up..."off grid"?! Like, no running water and no electricity? Correct! And we're confident we've made off-grid not just livable, but easy and fun. A butane cookstove makes your coffee and breakfast, and an outdoor firepit with roasting forks provides the true camp experience. A gas barbecue completes the cooking trifecta. Two small coolers (BYO ice) keep your bevvies and salad materials in good shape. We're eager to hear what you think of our indoor camp potty (plus outdoor outhouse with composting toilet), supplied potable water, and soft lighting via rechargeable lanterns and candles. We also provide a full, solar EcoFlow generator battery, providing more than enough energy to keep phones and laptops charged. A propane heater keeps the edge off, in case the night gets chilly. The EcoFlow also powers WiFi when you need it, and cell service is generally good. This is a family-owned property and the six of us are enjoying figuring it out as we go, honing our DIY skills on building the yurt and creating gardens. We think it's a pretty magical place and are excited to share it. Guest access The whole space is yours to explore. A dirt lane divides the evergreens and yurt area from the open field where we're experimenting with wildflowers, bulbs, and big old compost bins. The campsite at the far end of the field is sometimes rented, and the driveway is the only place you'll overlap. You're welcome to explore the open field while respecting campers' privacy. If you want to rent both areas, get in touch! Other things to note For toileting, there is a porta-potty on the discreet side of the yurt. It has a composting toilet that isn't difficult, but is different--mostly in that you need to sit to urinate. If you're a stander, there is a urinal. Everybody wins! While there's no running water, we provide a large jug of drinking and washing-up water for your stay. We also provide a full eco-flow battery to each guest that provides more than enough energy to keep phones charged, etc.
