Magpie Suite at The Shorehouse Hotel
Magpie Suite at The Shorehouse Hotel
Description
Where wild meets refined; where history meets the modern. The Shorehouse Hotel was constructed adjacent to Buena Vista’s 1880s brothel, The Palace of Joy. The Magpie Suite is named after its renowned Madam, Elizabeth Sturgeon, who was known for her pet magpie. Taking a note from nature, the simple black and white design of the room mimics the simplistic beauty of the American Magpie. Clean lines play with natural elements to create a modern oasis.
