Skye Eco Pod

Your tranquil escape awaits! Stylish studio nestled in rural Portnalong on the Isle of Skye. Walk to the beaches or explore the nearby Fairy Pools & Cuillin mountains. Take a tour of the world-famous Talisker distillery and enjoy the amazing local seafood afterwards. Unwind in the open-plan living space, kingsize bed & ensuite bathroom. The perfect private haven for adventure and relaxation. The space Living Area / Kitchenette The main living area of the pod comprises of a generous space with a comfy sofa. There’s a dining table with 2 chairs and a well equipped kitchenette that includes a 2-burner electric hob and generous oven. Wi-Fi is provided and there is a TV with a firestick which can be positioned to watch from the sofa or the bedroom area. (Please note, if you wish to work from the pod and require an internet connection, we suggest bringing a personal hotspot as the local internet service can be a little unreliable!) Bedroom The sleeping area includes a kingsize bed and a pair of side tables. There are a few shelves and a small clothing rail for storage as well as the drawers under the bed which you can use too. Bathroom The bathroom includes an electric shower, sink and toilet with some storage for your toiletries. Outside Our pod features a recently redesigned exterior, ensuring a more comfortable and secure stay. Generous parking spaces to the back of the pod and a decking area at the front. A great space to spend the evenings enjoying the views across North Talisker and over to MacLeod’s tables. It’s also a great spot from which to watch the local eagles circling overhead. Guest access The whole pod is just for you. Once you’re up the main driveway there’s a private drive down to the pod with your own parking for up to 2 cars. The way to the pod is well signposted but if it’s proving challenging to find then we’ll happily get you on the right track if you give us a call. Other things to note One of our biggest local attractions is Talisker distillery. If you are interested in visiting the distillery then we recommend booking your tour as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. These are generally available up to 3 months in advance and through the summer months will be sold out 6-8 weeks ahead! Unfortunately, we must request that our guests do not use the power outlets in the pod to charge up electric vehicles. Registration Details HI-30664-F
