Listing is new here are some reviews from the previous Airbnb guests October 2023 This place checked all the requirements and more. It had a well appointed kitchen with plenty of dishes, silverware, cooking implements, even a mini crock pot for queso. The beds and couch/chairs were comfortable. (Bonus: heated bed mats in case needed on cold nights.). The water was hot, the pressure was good, the dishwasher worked well. Plenty of towels. We were so happy to discover the game of Telestrations (great if you have 4 or more people at a time). The host was wonderful and showed us the spring. You will love the perch. The stars shone brightly on the patio and back porch. The birds were plentiful with the host keeping multiple feeders available for them to scavenge. But they love the bugs in the yard too. Peruse the guide books on the shelves and have some great days hiking Garner, Hill Country SNA, Lost Maples, et al. If you’re particularly sore, there’s a big tub to soak in—-or clean off the grimy kids. There were 2 big dog beds and multiple dog bowls available for furry friends. I’d love to come back again—-for more hiking, as well as tubing and swimming in the area. March 2022 This was a beautiful place. Very clean and welcoming. We had planned to go hiking at the state park but instead pushed that by a day and spent all day at the property. We walked along the creek in the morning, took a dip, went up the small hill in the evening. We then barbecued on the deck, put out our picnic mats and lay under the stars Jess, the owner is obviously passionate about her land and in welcoming her guests. She went out of the way, to show us around. She even gave my toddler a turkey feather and an antler horn from her collection! The house had all the amenities you could ask for. Everything was well thought out. We would definitely stay here again March 2021 The house is private, spacious, and the yard is enormous and beautiful. There are no other houses in sight, so it's perfect if you want a pleasant getaway. We particularly loved having a fenced yard area for our dogs. Despite the fact that the house was dog friendly, it did not smell like there had been dogs. It was clean and fresh. We are birders and were thrilled to see many unusual species on the property. There is a gazebo right there in the yard, as well as another that you can hike up to on the far end of the owner's property. It was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. February 2021 The hospitality was out of this world! We traveled at the beginning of a dangerous weekend weather-wise and ended up having to cut our trip short so we could safely return home, but while we were there, our hosts checked on us and went above and beyond to make sure we were all (pets included!) warm and safe! Definitely would like to return in the future!
