Luxury comfort, but still in a jungle/nature setting. Private bathroom. The space Suite 2 -This open-air concept room features one king bed, or two single beds. It includes an ensuite bathroom with a rainfall shower, two high-powered fans, secure storage for personal items and, a personal hammock. A highlight of this room is the close connection to nature as you listen and watch the crashing waves as the sky paints another day. We have an amazing infinity pool and a yoga studio overlooking the ocean. We are connected to a larger hotel, which has 2 additional swimming pools, 2 more yoga studios, a spa, restaurant, bar, library, and a remote-work space. Directly out front of the hotel is an uncrowded surfbreak, and we have boards to rent, and surf lessons available. Casa Horizon is a multi-level jungle house that has an eco-friendly design to minimize its footprint. Intentional craftsmanship has been designed into our space, blending seamlessly with the environment while maintaining luxury as an integral part of your experience. Immerse yourself in tranquility with the stunning sunsets that overlook Playa Escameca. With a large and shared open-concept kitchen, it provides you with the option for a more budget-friendly experience to prepare your own meals. There is also an incredible restaurant only 1-minute walk away, if you prefer to be on the meal plan! There are no grocery stores or ATMs in the area. Please plan ahead accordingly. We are about a 25-minute drive to San Juan del Sur. 2.5 hours to Liberia in Costa Rica, and 3 hours to Managua. Guest access Where rustic meets luxury, our space holds all the things to ensure you feel at home. Our large patio eating area is perfect for groups or family style meals. The spacious courtyard is surrounded by papaya trees and flowers you can view while lounging in one of our many hammocks giving a secluded vacation feel. The living room is a great space for travelers to swap stories and connect and an area that has hosted many music jams and movie nights. Last but certainly not least, our monumental yoga studio complete with yoga mats, bolsters and, blocks for those looking to host retreats or who are looking to flow through their own self-care practice. From a breezy yoga ocean flow to scouting waves to surf this view has it all. Playa Escameca is well known for surfing as the you will find the ideal offshore winds thats give the wave good shape. We are blessed with consistent surf and you can catch good waves any month in the year. Activities at Casa Horizon include: surfboard rentals and lessons, horseback riding, fishing and yoga classes at the studio next door.
