Ultra-modern rustic with unique charm awaits you in Vallemaggia… Especially suitable for nature lovers, dog owners, hikers, bikers or people who want to treat themselves to a quiet break. In just a five-minute walk, you can enjoy the sun on the river. The center "Maggia" is 1.6 km away and can be easily reached by car, public transport or on foot. There you will find a pharmacy, doctor, post office, bank, Coop/Migros/Denner and the famous Panetteria "Poncini" (former Panettone world champion). The space The Rustico is designed for two people with/without dog(s). Children would also be welcome on our part and included in the price. In the sleeping area, however, there is little space for an extra bed or an air mattress. The additional sleeping options, including duvet and terry towels, would have to be brought along. On the first floor of the Rustico are the dining and living area, the kitchen and a bathroom, which can be closed with a sliding door. The first floor is equipped with underfloor heating (on the second floor there would also be a heater). The stairs to the upper floor serve as a room divider. It is semi-open and steep. The sleeping area is located on the upper floor and is a kind of gallery. Please note that the Rustico is not additionally insulated and consists of natural materials (stone walls, wooden ceiling), which can sometimes lead to small "stone deposits." The property is professionally cleaned 1-2 days before guests arrive. (Identification number: NL-00009237) Guest access The entire Rustico is available to guests for their own use. This also includes a lockable outdoor area (e.g. for bicycles, strollers, etc.) and the cozy, furnished seating area. The stone wall is 50 cm high and does not completely enclose the "front yard" (on the right and left outside it has a passage each). Casa Kāinga is located in the center of Aurigeno, a small community in the Maggia Valley. It is surrounded by inhabited houses. Within walking distance you can be in beautiful nature and on the Maggia, which is ideal for swimming there. Other things to note Please observe our house rules for a smooth process. General rules: - The tourist tax of CHF 3.25 per person per night must be deposited in cash in the designated piggy bank. - The landlord will provide a number of rolls of toilet paper and a chargeable garbage bag. Additional fee bags can be purchased individually in Maggia. The availability of other consumables may vary and is not guaranteed (e.g. spices, oils, coffee capsules, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, etc.). - Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. - Smoking is only allowed in the outdoor area - No dogs on the upholstered furniture, please - Damage must be reported to the landlord and paid for in addition Before departure: - Leave the accommodation swept clean - Remove bed linens and place them together with the terry towels in the black box in the storage room - Place beach chairs, umbrella, chair cushions and clothes rack in the storage room (dining table and garden chairs may be left in front of the accommodation) - Empty the refrigerator, turn it off and leave the door open - Wash and put away used dishes (also applies to coffee maker) - If the washing machine is used: turn off the faucet and disconnect the machine from the power supply (behind the wardrobe) - The waste must be disposed of in the blue waste bags of Vallemaggia and deposited at the collection point of Aurigeno - Turn off all lights and unplug any cables from the power - If the wooden elements on the front door have been removed, reattach them - Lock the three exterior doors of the accommodation and return the key to the key box Thank you for understanding and your help!
