The space The snug lounge with its feature fireplace and cheering wood burner is the perfect place to relax after a day's exploration in the fresh, country air. You can enjoy a delightful supper for two at the dining table, perhaps prepared in the bijou but amply-equipped kitchen. Alternatively, you can dine alfresco in the small enclosed courtyard garden, making the most of the evening sunshine and perhaps making use of the BBQ provided. At the end of a busy day, there is a welcoming king-size bedroom where you have the added joy of country views from the window. There are plenty of beautiful, scenic walks in this corner of Devon. Not least of all, the South West Coast Path (1 mile) which offers stunning scenery: dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, secluded coves and beaches. You could follow this path along to Westward Ho! (4 miles) which offers two miles of golden sandy beach as well as a wealth of pubs, restaurants and shops. Other attractions easily reached from here include Clovelly (8 miles), a unique cliffside fishing village with cobbled streets and a pretty harbour, the picturesque village of Appledore (7 miles) and the port town of Bideford (5 miles), where you can catch the Oldenburg passenger ferry to the unique nature reserve of Lundy Island.
