For culinary enthusiasts, our chef's kitchen is newly renovated and a dream come true. Fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and ample counter space, it is a chef's paradise where you can whip up delicious meals with ease. Accompanying the kitchen is an open dining area outfitted with a large table and seating for six. The spacious living area features a large sectional sofa, perfect for lounging with a good book or enjoying a movie night with loved ones. Natural light floods the space, highlighting the sleek, warm decor that creates a calming atmosphere throughout. On chilly evenings, simply flip a switch to ignite the newly installed propane stove and cozy up by its comforting warmth. The second level consists of a newly renovated full bath with tub and three comfortable bedrooms. The large private primary bedroom has a queen bed to one side and a dedicated workspace to the other. The second bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and the third has a set of twins. The home accommodates a maximum of six guests and offers Wi-Fi and a smart TV. A guest favorite for wedding weekends, White Birch Haus is located just minutes from some of the Mad River Valley’s most beloved venues, including Skinner Barn, Mad River Barn, Lareau Farm Inn, and the Inn at Round Barn. Hike scenic trails just minutes away (including Camel’s Hump + Warren Falls) 🏊 Cool off at nearby swimming spots like Blueberry Lake & Lareau Swim Hole 🍓 Visit Waitsfield’s farmers’ market, local breweries, and farm stands 🚲 Bike the back roads or try mountain biking at Sugarbush 🔥 Grill dinner on the deck, then gather around the fire pit for s’mores Guest access Guests may use the fire pit but wood and kindling are not provided. Firewood bundles are sold at local supermarkets and hardware stores such as Shaw's and Bisbees which are both located in Waitsfield. Often firewood is available for purchase at the Moretown General Store only 5 mins away from the property. Other things to note Winter Travel: The property is located off a private unpaved road. The road leading to White Birch Haus is well plowed and sanded during the winter nevertheless all-wheel drive vehicles with all season tires are a must for snow and mud season. If your vehicle is front wheel drive only, snow tires may be necessary in the winter months. When driving in these conditions, be advised to take it slow. Security: Please note that the property has an active Ring camera on the exterior. Occupancy: The property has a maximum occupancy limit of 6 people. We cannot accept extra guests under any circumstances. Pets: Absolutely no pets of any kind are allowed. Must be 25 to book this home. Hot tub on premises is not for guest use. This property does not have air conditioning but fans are provided.
