Rooftop flat | Central Amsterdam

Hi, Harro and Kirsty here! We're so happy to welcome you to our cosy 2-floored flat, great for a couples getaway and located in Spaarndammerbuurt, bordering the Jordaan area. This city has so much to offer, so this is the perfect base to unwind in a relaxing environment. Located close to the good stuff, but away from the noise. To Amsterdam Centraal Station, it's only a 5 mins drive / 8 mins cycle / 25 mins stroll. Please note: only stairs in this building. The space Lower floor: Starting with our lovely social area, the kitchen is small but mighty. You have a full stove top and combi-oven/microwave (very common in Europe!). There are also state-of-the-art appliances such as a muti-use blender, temp-control kettle, electric coffee bean grinder, Profitech Pro 400 espresso machine, and Aarke soda maker. There is a small balcony too that houses the recycling boxes. The living room is decorated with a bar cart, comfortable leather sofa, leafy plants and a 65-inch HD TV with SONOS bar for movie nights. The dining room has a large table with 6 seats. If you're feeling musical, there is a piano that slides out of the vinyl cabinet for you to use. Upper floor: In the hallway, you'll have the washer available for use. The separate toilet and shower room are located opposite each other in the hallway. The bedroom is minimalistic and bright, with a very comfortable Kings-size bed. You'll notice a wall rack for drying clothes if needed. In the furthest corner of the room, is a staircase leading up to a rooftop window (locked from the inside and fitted with a privacy / sun blind), opening onto a private 12 m2 rooftop. Our neighbours also have a rooftop next door but with a fence in between. - Only stairs in the whole building, no elevators. - No free parking! All parking must be paid via an app. - Bedroom blinds and curtains are light blocking. - SONOS speakers in bedroom, living room and dining room. - Feel free to use what's in our kitchen cupboards, mi casa su casa. - Please note this flat is our home, so we appreciate your respect of our space and belongings, and that being lived-in means it's not picture perfect. However everything's in great condition and we hope you see this through the images. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
