Woodland Lodge Hare

Experience nature in our unique accommodation whether your a camping enthusiast or nature lover our Landpods offer a comfortable and immersive way to reconnect. We are a private, off grid site consisting of four Landpod lodges. Each sleeps four people, double bunk style and has its own separate wet room. There are shared site facilities for making a simple meal, a drying area to hang wet clothing and outdoors is an all terrain campfire, grill and pizza oven with benches and amazing views. The space Woodland Lodge Hare is a modern twist on camping, with solar powered sensory lighting, two usb charging ports (for mobile phones only). Bedding is provided ie cotton duvet, sheet, two pillows per bunk, an extra blanket and a hot water bottle. Landpods have raised legs so you are off the ground. Heating is provided from autumn through to early spring via an eco friendly warm air system (as found in camper vans) to take the chill off. Whilst this is not something you can leave on continuously it is a little extra creature comfort for the colder camping months. Each Woodland Lodge is provided with 5 litres of fuel which last approximately two nights. Should you require more fuel there is an extra charge. Each Landpod Lodge has wings so you can open up the sides and enjoy the elements or the dark skies, weather permitting. Woodland Lodge Hare has its own individual, lockable wet room with toilet/shower set away from Lodge. Shared site facilities include our ‘Snack Shack’ and ‘Tiny Kitchen’ area which each have a double gas camping hob, crockery, utensils and a selection of condiments. The ‘Driangle’ is a space to hang and dry wet clothing or towels. Not forgetting of course the campfire grill/barbecue and pizza oven for campfire camaraderie. All wood and kindling is provided and stored in the ‘Snack Shack’ Set in and surrounded by nature it’s a great way to escape, reconnect and enjoy the out doors. Woodland Lodge Hare is one of two dog friendly Landpods. There is a £10 surcharge for dogs regardless of length of stay which must be added in ‘pets’ when a reservation is made. We accept 1 medium size dog or two small. Dogs must be well behaved and on a lead at all times. Owners are responsible for picking up their own dogs mess around the Landpod or surrounding areas. Bags are provided if required. Dog owners please note: This is a AONB with ground nesting birds, sheep and wildlife therefore we cannot accept dogs that are excessively vocal or reactive out of respect for other guests, neighbours and the environment. . Guest access Guests have access to the site only all areas signposted ‘private no access’ or ‘prohibited’ are the owners home or work place. Other things to note Woodland Lodge Hare is one of our two dog friendly Landpods. One medium size dog is permitted or two small well behaved. There is a surcharge of £10 for your dog. Please be sure to inform the owners if you intend to bring a dog/s. We do not accept excessively vocal or reactive dogs.
