Hürbel Charming Suites Castle

Castle Hürbel is a 500 year old, still very authentic castle with worldwide unique paper wallpaper from 1785 . We offer two suites (Napoleon, stork, rose garden suite), individually or in combinations. Here you will stay like a museum in old walls with modern, high-quality interiors. The large monastery table in Rosengarten suite can be the meeting place for all guests. For more guests (e.g. for dancing), an event hall for 45 people can be booked The space The charming Hürbel Castle is located in a small village of Gutenzell-Hürbel between Munich, Allgäu and Lake Constance. The castle dates back to the 16th century and has been completely restored inside. The castle has all the amenities you expect from a modern building. From the bed linen to cutlery and dishes, everything is of high quality and was chosen with a lot of love. Beyond the borders of Baden-Württemberg, it became known for its unique French paper wallpaper from 1785. Our Baroque jewel of 1521 opens its doors and warmly welcomes its guests. The first extraordinary apartment in the castle is the stork's nest apartment (up to four people). The ceiling is decorated with fine floral stucco, the historic floor of 1908 has been covered with pitch-pine planks. This gives this apartment a particularly sweet and romantic character. The apartment has its name because a couple of storks have maintained a nest directly above it for over eight years and attracts their offspring every year. The second extravagant apartment is the rose garden suite. It is ideal for families and friends traveling together with one bedroom for 2 (double bed 180x200 cm) and a living room for four more guests. The large sofa beds can be used separately at the same time. In the bathroom you will find a classically beautiful bathtub, a bidet and a shower. In the tower of this apartment is a very well equipped modern kitchen. There is a walk-in closet next to the bedroom. For family or friends reunions, this suite is the central meeting point, as a large monastery table can host many (and even more) guests. For guests who need more space, a small hall can still be booked. For events up to 45 people, please ask the host beforehand. Here you can find information about restaurants, etc. Guest access The guests are kindly requested to contact us by phone about an hour before arriving at Hürbel Castle. You will receive the phone number after booking. Other things to note Hürbel is a small village in the middle of the beautiful Upper Swabian countryside. Here you can experience pure nature. Supermarkets (ALDI, Lidl, Norma, E-Center, Müller Markt), restaurants, pharmacies and cafes can be reached by car within a radius of about 5 km in Ochsenhausen. Baker and butcher in about 1 km distance in Reinstetten or Gutenzell. In the neighboring village of Schönebürg it is an aunt mom shop, which is open 7 days a week from 5 am to 11 pm. On Friday and Saturday, a farm shop of Bioland is open 400m from the castle. There are also green weekly markets in Ochsenhausen and Biberach. In Ochsenhausen there is the idyllic outdoor swimming pool brick pond with hospitality, free entrance. The "Öchsle" also runs in the summer half year. An old small steam train from Biberach to Ochsenhausen and back. The Jordan-Therme, accessible by car in about 15 minutes, offers fun and relaxation for everyone. Oberschwaben is a tourist region in the south of Germany. It is well known for its good food. The cities of Munich, Stuttgart, Ulm, Augsburg, Nuremberg and Lake Constance, Switzerland and Liechtenstein are easily accessible by car. The Allgäu, the Swabian Alb and Austria are next door and invite you to hike. The Allgäu-Airport Memmingen is a half hour by car. For families, friends and business partners, Hürbel Castle is a central meeting place from where more activities are started. We are also the starting point for a visit to Legoland or the Upper Swabian Baroque road with its beautiful castles monasteries and churches and not least the Center-Park-Allgäu (38 min.
