This secluded peace of paradise (253 acres ) has spectacular views from the Cabin for it looks over the beautiful Mancos Valley, Mesa Verde and the La Plata Mountains. The Cabin at Mesa Verde is about 1 ½ miles east of the Mesa Verde National Park overpass on Hwy 160 and about 4 miles west of Mancos, Colorado. (The down stairs is for the use of this listing only.) The space Our property is a 253 acre working cattle ranch looking over the beautiful Mancos Valley. We have a great view of the La Platte Mountains and Mesa Verde. The ranch is surrounded by private property and B.L.M. land. There are wide open spaces to enjoy our wild life. The ranch is only 1 1/2 miles from Mesa Verde National Park, 4 miles from Mancos, 11 miles from Cortez, 20 miles from Dolores, and 29 miles to Durango. Telluride, Silverton, 4 Corners and Pagosa Springs are also other great places to visit. Riding the Durango-Silverton Railroad, visiting Canyon of the Ancients Museum and Hovenweep National Monument are highly recommended. Fuel, supplies and dining out are close by. There are many archeological sites in the area and outdoor activities…fishing, bicycling, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, 4 wheeling, hunting, etc. Guest access The use of the bottom floor of the cabin is for your use. If there are more guest the upstairs is available. The total cabin sleeps 7 (5 upstairs and 2 down stairs). You are welcome to walk around the 253 acres. Our home across the drive way and the hogan next door are for private use. Other things to note My husband and I are retired. We moved to Southwest Colorado in March, 2022 from California. We previously owned 6 vacation rentals near Yosemite National Park and were Super Hosts with Airbnb. We truly enjoyed meeting our guests and look forward to hosting in our new surroundings.
