Vacation home at Safrangarten II in Altenburg

Our two apartments are located on the outskirts of the city of Altenburg - right on the fields with saffron, which has been cultivated here again since 2016 and blooms purple in October. If you want to learn more about saffron cultivation in Altenburg, visit us! On foot you are in approx. 15 minutes in the city center. A bus stop is close by. The S-Bahn runs directly to Leipzig and Halle. Of course, families with children are welcome! You can't bring pets. The space The apartment Safrangarten II is on the ground floor. The apartment includes a combined kitchen/living room with TV, a bedroom with double bed (also individually adjustable), a hallway and a bathroom with shower. Washer and dryer are free to use. The sofa in the livingroom can be changed into a double sized bed. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, double hot plate, microwave with grill and refrigerator, plus there is a coffee machine, kettle and toaster. In the apartment, two adults can sleep comfortably. In addition, up to two extra beds are possible (sofa bed in the living room). Access to the bathroom is through the double bedroom. In about 15 minutes you can reach the Altenburg city center on foot. A bus stop that takes you to the city center and train station is just across the street. The S-Bahn runs every half hour to Leipzig. There is also a direct connection to Halle-Leipzig Airport, Zwickau and Halle. So you can easily reach us by public transport. If you come by car, we have free parking right next to our apartments. Bicycles can be parked safely. Guest access You can use the entire apartment on the ground floor. On the first floor directly above you is a second apartment. You share the staircase. The open spaces (garden, backyard, parking spaces) are also used by other residents. Other things to note The apartment is also suitable for people with reduced mobility. It is on the ground floor, all rooms are on one level. However, the entrance to the house is only accessible via a staircase with four steps. The bathroom is equipped with a barrier-free shower.
