Small organic farm with family-run farm, located in a panoramic position a few kilometers from Poggio Mirteto and 45 km from Rome. We grow fruit and olive trees; we raise the bees and we produce honey; we raise chickens and geese with a natural method in a large enclosure; we organize classes and workshops both inside the farm and in schools. Mario is a apistine expert; Beatrice is a honey dresser. The space The farm consists of 2 accommodations (the other is also on Airbnb and has the same characteristics as this). The farm's old horse stables have been renovated and are now two comfortable studio apartments overlooking the valley and the ancient village of Poggio Mirteto. The wooden porch shields the sun and is the ideal place to have breakfast, read a book or just laze while enjoying the view. Each studio consists of a sleeping area with a double bed, a sitting area with kitchenette and single sofa bed, a bathroom with shower; it is equipped with bed and bath linen, stove, refrigerator, dishes and pots. Independent heating and air conditioning. Smoking is prohibited in all premises. We can provide an additional toddler bed upon request (maximum three years). Our guests can take guided tours nearby, mountain hikes, classes, and workshops. The large pool (16m x 4m) is a great attraction for summer.
