Any suggestions are always welcome. Access to your studio is through the rear of the garage then up a flight of stairs. Guests have their own private entry and off street parking spot. Shore line east train stop is on our block. We are a local couple, my husband Frank is from Guilford. We like to entertain, boat, enjoy the local scenery, I go clamming around the corner from the house, my husband enjoys checking out the local craft breweries where they generally have live music and outdoor activities in the summer. Our weekends are spent going for a hike, bike or boat ride, or just walking to the local market for brunch or to one of the many restaurants for live music. We are always available to meet or offer suggestions or respect your need for privacy. You take the lead on the level of interaction you are looking for. A ten minute walk will allow you to choose from 12 eating/drinking establishments around 1/2 mile away. Location is ideal! Beach, restaurants, one block to the train, shopping, hiking trails, kayak rentals, pick you own fruit, walk to town, summer concerts on the local green. There are generally 2-3 music venues per weekend walking distance from our home. We feel very fortunate to live where we do! Lunch in New Haven or Dinner and a show in Old Saybrook at the Katherine Hepburn Theater is 20 minutes and $4.25 each way.You can even take a train to the Stony Creek Brewery in Branford.
