Sleep under a glass roof looking at the stars in a round bed and a round adobe structure with an ancestral fractal design, organic architecture beneficial to your health, the best option for a magical and sacred place, enjoying a campfire and a traditional temazcal healing ceremony. The space From the glass domes of Cabaña Colmena, you can observe the stars, the ancient formations of La Puerta, La Ventana and Quetzalcoatl, the hills of Los Guardianes and Las Mariposas and, hopefully, some of the objects that have made Amatlan de Quetzalcoatl famous as a mystical and sacred place, an energy portal, a magnetic center and a UFO sighting location, in addition to the caves and hieroglyphics that are very close by. The cabin is located within a fenced property of eight thousand square meters where we live with twelve Criollo and Xoloescuintle dogs, five of them Xoloescuintles, eight cats and the donkeys Gardenia, Gino and Platero, all rescued and friendly. Not recommended for people allergic to animals. We do not use poisons or chemical insecticides so as not to harm our animals or the surrounding species: opossums, coatis, birds, bats, iguanas, butterflies, fireflies, bees, etc. The property is reached by a winding dirt road. We recommend a high-riding vehicle or 4x4, or you can walk, which guarantees privacy for any visitor. The view is unbeatable, and there are many activities that can be done nearby: hiking, walks to the Poza de Quetzalcoatl, La Puerta, La Ventaña, La Tepechinola, a night walk to the Potrero viewpoint on the mountain, therapies, shamanic cleansings, temazcales, etc. You can spend a unique night outside the cabin in front of a campfire. We also have a library and a piano. The cabin is divided into two domes; each one has a loft with beds. The view is unbeatable, and there are many activities that can be done: campfires, hiking, a night walk to the Potrero en la Montaña viewpoint, walks to La Ventana, Poza de Quetzalcoatl, and Tepechinola, and a hike along the ancestral path to San José and Tlayacapan. Nearby you can find therapies and temazcales, horseback riding, etc. We have a library for those who love reading. You can also enjoy a unique evening by a campfire outside your cabin. The plot of Casa Colmena is divided into two domes; each one has a loft, and there are beds in all areas. We have two other cabins on the same property, Cabaña Caracol and Cabaña Hongo, as well as an outdoor bar, Concha Acústica, and a suitable area for your celebrations, ceremonies, birthdays, and musical events.
