Also, please see "Things to know" -> "House rules" -> "Show more" -> "Additional rules" for details. ** No Smoking ** Smoking, Vaping, use of Cigarettes, Marijuana, and any other drugs, are strictly NOT allowed anywhere inside, outside of the house, and NOT allowed near the neighbourhood, we are located in a school zone! Booking will be immediately cancelled, NO refund! A $300 fee applies if smoking occurs during your stay ** Your Room ** We provide a starter kit of soap, shampoo, and toilet paper in each bathroom before guest check-in. Guests are responsible for additional supplies of the above items as well as shower gel, toothpaste, etc. We do not provide cleaning inside your room during your stay. ** The Kitchen ** This area is shared with other guests, and it's only designed for light cooking. Please be considerate about the time required for cooking and smell, and avoid cooking with strong odour! Our guests are expected to cook for less than an hour and also for the majority of the time just heat their food. We provide simple utensils and condiments such as salt, pepper, and sugar. ** Keep Common Area Clean ** Guests are expected to keep common areas clean and tidy including cleaning your dishes and the dining table. ** Other Guests ** This is a shared accommodation! You might see other guests in the common space. Please be respectful and kind to others. Discrimination will not be tolerated, any kind of discrimination will be reported to Airbnb. ** Minimize the Noises ** Please keep your volume low during the day and use earphones at all times! Other guests may be working or studying during the day. Quiet hours at night are between 10 PM - 6 AM to ensure everyone has a good sleep! ** Laundry Room ** We provide a washer and dryer in the house, free to use by everyone. The schedule is between 10 AM - 9 PM every day. No use of the laundry machines after 9 PM or before 10 AM to avoid the noises at night! Other things to note ** Minimize the Noises ** Parties or playing music are strictly prohibited at our place!!! Unlike condos, hotels or apartments, Canadian houses are built with wood and thin walls between rooms, allowing for more noise transmission, you will hear potential daily life noises from other guests due to their presence. This may include talking, cooking, running water, washer machine and footsteps during the day. We ask all guests to minimize noise as much as possible and use earphones at all times because other guests may be working or studying during the day. Quiet hours at night are between 10 PM - 6 AM to ensure everyone has a good sleep! Please avoid talking, slamming the door, and using the kitchen, etc, during the quiet hours! Avoid booking the place if you are very sensitive to noise and require a noise-free environment! ** Temperature Control ** We have a central HVAC system, which means that individual temperature control in each room is NOT possible. However, we make every effort to maintain a comfortable balance for everyone. Depending on the room, the temperature typically ranges between 22°C to 24°C. If you find your room too cold or too hot, you have the option to close the air vents inside your room, but the adjustment range is limited. Additionally, we can provide fans or extra blankets for your convenience to further customize your comfort level. However, if you are very sensitive to temperature and require temperature control for your room, avoid booking this place!
