Carraroe or An Cheathrú Rua is a small village in the Gaeltacht of Connemara and has everything you need, shops, pubs, cafés, pharmacy etc and it is a 45 minute drive to Galway City. The Wild Atlantic just outside the front door - the coral beach at Carraroe less than a 5 minutes away, Kylemore Abbely just an hour away as is the beautiful village of Roundstone and the Connemara National Park.
