The Chalet "Le Punchou" is a real slice of heaven in the heart of the Mercantour National Park. The space The chalet 'Le Punchou' is a peaceful haven located in a wild setting in the high mountains. Accessible all year round by road and ideal for holidays and weekends, the Punchou is located in the Gordolasque Valley in the municipality of Belvédère (Vésubie Valley). It is organized around a wooded plot and fenced plot of over 1200 m², topped by a balcony terrace opening onto a beautiful mountain lake (Lake Countet). The Gordolasque Valley (known as "Little Switzerland") is the valley of the Mercantour where the wild fauna and flora is the richest and most diverse (chamois, ibex, marmots, foxes, deer, does, roe deer, wolves, hares...). Located at an altitude of 1615 m, you can enjoy the charm of each season. Out of sight, you will be dazzled by the panorama: from the terrace and the garden, facing you, the Mercantour National Park with the highest peaks of the Southern Alps (Le Clapier, Le Gélas, La Malédie... "roof of the world"). Starting point to reach the famous Valley of Wonders, a renowned open-air archaeological site, many options are available to you: hiking, donkey riding, picking wild fruits and mushrooms, climbing, mountaineering, fishing, electric mountain biking, relaxing, Berthemont Spa, Roquebillère natural pool, river swimming, "Vésubia Mountain Park" canyoning in St Martin de Vésubie, via Ferrata de Lantosque, Colmiane zip line (the largest in Europe)... The rental includes all hotel services (sheets, towels, etc.) excluding breakfast. Outside and in summer, you have a heated above-ground swimming pool, a trampoline, garden lounges, deckchairs, wooden table with benches, barbecue and plancha, spring water fountain, fireplace for grilling over wood fire... The chalet is eco-friendly because it is supplied with spring water and equipped with solar panels that provide part of the chalet's power supply during the day.
