Welcome to our nature cottage on the Eikelhof, in the outskirts of Deventer. Here in the middle of the countryside, we offer you an escape from the hustle and bustle of the day. We have converted our former young cattle barn into 2 rural rooms where comfort and authenticity go hand in hand. On our terrace, you can enjoy the view of our meadows, while our curious cows keep you company. Due to the safety in and around our cottage, it is not suitable for children. The space Our countryside rooms are designed to provide you with every comfort. The modern, fully equipped kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator including freezer, a combi microwave, a stove, and a dishwasher, all from Siemens. Whether you want to prepare a quick meal or an elaborate dinner, everything you need is within reach, you will not be lacking anything, so it is also suitable for a longer vacation. Furthermore, we have taken care of all the details that make your stay as pleasant as possible: an ironing board with iron, a Senseo machine, a kettle, complete dishes, pans, etc. cutlery, tea towels, towels, TV, a wardrobe with clothes hangers and fine reading lights next to the bed, blackout curtains, all French windows and doors are equipped with screens, and there are also games available. In addition, we will prepare some coffee pads, tea bags and dishwashing blocks for you for the first day. The countryside room is on the ground floor and has underfloor heating, which ensures a pleasant temperature, even during the colder months. The bedroom is located on the ground floor. Free Wi-Fi and your e-bike can also be charged for free at your cottage, and if you want, you can store it in the adjacent shed that we lock at night. Other things to note Our nature house is only 6 km away from the Hanseatic city of Deventer, known for the Dickens Festival, Deventer on Stilts, the book market and the picturesque shopping center. The neighborhood bus, which stops 100 meters away, takes you to the surrounding villages (not on weekends). 4 km away you will find the beautiful floodplains of the IJssel, ideal for walking and cycling. The Sallandse Heuvelrug and De Veluwe are also beautiful areas for cycling and hiking. You can also hike and bike beautifully from your cottage. In addition, you can enjoy excellent restaurants here, in the nearby villages and Deventer. The Hanseatic cities of Zutphen, Hattem and Zwolle are also well worth a visit.
