Little Combe

Little Combe offers a relaxing, peaceful and stylish self contained space for couples, or single travellers, within the idyllic Dorset countryside and is just 2 miles from the beautiful, historic town of Sherborne with it’s Castles, Abbey and local boutiques. Milborne Port offers excellent local amenities, a garage and an exceptional restaurant alongside pubs and a street market at the weekend. Enjoy glorious walks or even bring your horse for hacking or lessons with an instructor. The space Little Combe is a self contained room, with en-suite bathroom, attached to our farmhouse. It has its own entrance, with parking space directly outside. The room is spacious and newly decorated with a king size double bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and Egyptian cotton luxury towels. There are black out blinds for a good nights sleep and a smart tv with various apps including prime and Netflix for those colder days. There is a small kitchenette with toaster, kettle, microwave and cafetière. There are also basic kitchen utensils and cutlery but the room is not designed for a lot of cooking. We are happy to discuss providing breakfast as an extra and there will be tea and coffee provided including ground coffee from a local barista. The bathroom has a large bath with shower over and plenty of hot water. We are ideally based for visits to Sherborne and the local area but are also less than an hour from the stunning Jurassic coast and only 15 minutes from the A303. There are many lovely restaurants, including The Clockspire just 2 minutes away. Please do ask about dining options as there are several really delightful country pubs in the area. Longleat (40 mins). Hauser and Wirth (restaurant and art gallery) Bruton. (25 mins) Guest access The room is for guest use only so provides a lovely private space. We are happy to provide some outside space to sit/eat if required. Other things to note As we live on site please understand that we will be around along with our dogs, cats and horses. Please let us know if you are nervous of dogs and we will make sure they don’t ‘welcome’ you on arrival. We also offer stabling for a horse and have a ménage alongside lovely hacking. I am a qualified riding instructor so can also provide lessons on site.
