The Humble Abode Camp

The Humble Abode is a secluded CAMP & offers a scenic view of DePriest Mountains range and is the perfect place to un-plug & disconnect to reconnect!! Our private and secluded camp provides with spectacular mountain views and a NEW OUTDOOR Shower!! with pressurized ambient water temperature, spacious deck, covered porch, double bed, hammock, yard to play croquet/corn hole, private port-a-potty, charcoal grill, and a solo stove firewood pit. The space Private, secluded camp with breath taking mountain views in rural Virginia within miles of Nelson 151. Guest access The lower cabin is our private residence. Please do not disturb. All guest dogs must stay within mowed area around the camp on a leash and not left unattended at camp. Our farm dogs will not disturb you, but are loose on our property. Other things to note *Attention*: There is NO Internet or Wifi at the camp. You also may NOT have cell service at the camp. There is a Verizon tower nearby, so you will have cell service with Verizon. Service for other cell phone providers is not guaranteed. * Note* Our driveway to the Humble Abode Camp is gravel and has some water drainage bumps/dips in it. There is a bit of a climb up the driveway to the camp, but the drive is worth it for the breath taking views! Use your discretion about taking a compact/low cars up there. You can park at the base of the hill next to parking sign if you want. *Things to bring to make your stay more enjoyable: -Drinking water/Ice/cooler -Propane stove/fuel -Extra candles -Lantern/headlamp/flashlight. - Shampoo/soap for shower
