Situated on a one acre pond and surrounded by long leaf pine woods, it is hard to imagine that it is actually located in the city limits of Jesup. The interior is all tongue and groove pine with cathedral ceilings and has an amazing walk in shower. The screened front porch will quickly become one of your favorite sitting areas. Miss Laura’s Cottage has one king bed and a sleeper sofa. The space Miss Laura’s Cottage was thoughtfully designed and built by our family for our mother, with comfort, privacy, and quiet relaxation in mind. This one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath cottage is ideal for couples, with a sleeper sofa available for additional guests. Throughout the home, tongue-and-groove pine and soaring cathedral ceilings in the main living area and bedroom create a warm, elevated space with a timeless cabin feel. The spa-like walk-in shower features a tankless water heater, providing endless hot water for a more comfortable, effortless stay. Step outside to the screened porch—an inviting space to unwind with morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while overlooking the peaceful pond and surrounding longleaf pines. Although the setting feels secluded and private, the cottage is just minutes from Jesup and approximately 45 minutes from the coast, offering both quiet retreat and convenient access. Guest access Guest are welcome to fish in the pond. It has bass and bluegills. We have a few rod and reels and some tackle available for guests to use. I do ask that all bluegill are thrown back.
