Please note if you plan to travel to Galveston island, please allow time to travel across the ferry which is approximately 30 minutes away from the house, however, the wait time to get on the ferry can be from an hour to several hours, depending on the time of day and time of year. Summer time the wait time has been up to 4 hours, please plan accordingly! Crystal Beach has lots of restaurants, mini golf, fishing tours & lots of fun activities for the whole family!! We provide beach towels and family games as well as a charcoal pit (bring your own charcoal). We provide hand soap, dish soap, and a starter of dishwashing soap and laundry detergent. We also provide a starter of personal items such as bar soap, shampoo and conditioner so you can relax and unpack!! A helpful tip, mosquitos can be a bother at times, bring mosquito spray with you just in case!
