Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, nestled on the shores of Harrington Sound. This studio cottage is just a stones throw from the charming village of Flatts. Enjoy a serene sanctuary where you can unwind and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Step inside our cozy studio cottage and be greeted by its intimate charm and inviting atmosphere. The focal point of the cottage is the sweet four-poster double bed, promising a restful nights sleep after a day of exploration. The space This pretty little studio cottage is perched at the water's edge, overlooking Harrington Sound near the village of Flatts. The cottage has A/C, heating, and a ceiling fan. It also has a four-poster double bed, a small shower room, and a separate room with toilet and sink. Stay connected and entertained with our wireless internet, Apple TV, and access to your own Netflix account. We also provide basic cable television stations for your viewing pleasure. The kitchenette has a standard drip coffee maker, kettle, toaster oven, small fridge, microwave, and a hotplate for scrambling eggs. A small charcoal Weber grill is available on the dock for your use. Basic pots, pans, cutlery, dishware, and cooking utensils are provided for simple meal prep. The unit is about 260 square feet. There is no formal closet, but there is a small chest of drawers beside the bed and hooks on the back of the doors. The crystal blue water off the dock is about 5 feet deep. NO FISHING is permitted from this property. Two beach towels are provided for swimming. A two-seater kayak (with two paddles) and two life jackets are available for guests only. If you prefer to lounge on the waterfront deck and dock, there are two lounge chairs to use and relax by the water. A small teak table with 2 dining chairs provides a nice setting for outdoor dining on the deck. Guest access Guests have full use of the boathouse and dock! If you rent an electric car or bike, they can be parked across the street in our large driveway. Other things to note There are no sleeping facilities for children as the unit suits a single person or couple. NO FISHING off of the dock. NO parties allowed. Flatts Village is less than a 1/4 mile walk away, and you can find restaurants, the aquarium, a post office, and a small convenience store. A bus stop is across the street from the cottage (bus passes and tickets can be bought at the post office or at the bus depot in Hamilton). You can also walk to Flatts for more bus route options. This property does not have a Twizy charging station but an outlet is available for charging other styles of electric vehicles. For stays longer than 1 week, arrangements can be made for cleaning service/change of linens at an extra charge.
